Microsoft.DirectX.AudioVideoPlayback

Hi everyone,
Sorry this is more than a little off topic but Im having a terrible time
trying to get anyone at the managed directX groups to reply so I'm going to
try with everyone here as they are far more helpful!

Im having problems with sound quality using the Audio class from this
namespace and I was wondering if anyone else had similar issues or knows of
any links to info about problems. Failing that anyone who has any
information on playing compressed file formats in .NET (mp3, WMA, ogg etc)
would be useful.

Any takers? Thanks in advance and sorry about the off-topicness again!

I've used it and audio works fine for me, so I can't offer any
specific advice.

I do have some experience using the AudioVideoPlayback namespace,
though, I can try to help. (I built a screensaver using
AudioVideoPlayback that shows my camera's avi's in addition to jpg's)

One thought, have you tried the sample player included in the SDK?
Actually, one of their video files always locks up when i try to play
it in the sample player. But the avi's from my camera work. And
mp3's work.

Goto
DXSDK\Samples\SampleBrowser\SampleBrowser.exe
Miscellaneous | Player
