Implementing DataSource Property

Hello,

I am trying to Implement a DataSource property for a custom control
using a ListView.
This DataSource should be like all other DataSource properties for data
bound controls in .NET. The DataSource accepts an object that eventually
points to an IEnumerable.

So far, I am able to extract the IEnumerable object from the DataSource.

Now, when I iterate throughout the Enumeration, do I look for an IList
first? If the enumerated element is an IList (eg. DataRow), get the
DisplayValue column data.

If the enurated element is not an IList, then use that element as the value.

Does this cover all cases in getting the values from the IEnumerable object?

Sincerely,
Brian Takita
