Is your understanding that you can compile the source into your managed code
and not have to GNU license. If you do compile the source into your project
(i.e. not a seperate dll) what do you need to say or ship with your product?

There is a much appreciated specified exception to the GNU license for
#ZipLib. See attached PDF. As I understand it, it allows the distribution
of the compiled library, without requiring the combined work to be under the
GNU license. However, read it for yourself.
