NotifyIcon.ContextMenu

P: n/a
Hi Everyone,

My problem concerns ContextMenus. It's easy enough to create one and apply
it to a NotifyIcon. When it's compiled and run, it works beautifully. Right
click and there you are. But I want it to show the ContextMenu on a left
click. This seems to be harder than it should be.
I've assigned a click event to the NotifyIcon which it registers, but when I
try to use:
NotifyIcon1.ContextMenu.Show(Forms.Control control , Drawing.Point pos);
I find I can't pass it a control object - the NotifyIcon object doesn't seem
to have one or to be one.
I tried casting a Forms.NotifyIcon object to a Forms.Control but it would
have non of it.

Is there any way to show the context menu associated with NotifyIcon without
specifying a control?
Am I looking at this in too complicated a way?

All help will be logged and duely passed on at the pearly gates.
Thanks

Mike
