Private tutoring: C# and ASP.NET

Anyone who is new to C# or ASP.NET and wishes to gain more knowledge can
email me at
nu**@yahoo.com and we can set up private tutoring sessions. I have many
years of programming experience and hold MCSD certification in .NET and C#.

Maybe you should actually answer some questions in the newsgroup to prove
you even know what you are talking about. And use your real name, that way
you gain credibility with every question you answer.

And please don't advertise in a newsgroup. If we think you are so great via
my suggestion above, people may flock to you on their own. I'm sure anyone
in this group would be willing to take on a paying customer/student.

Besides, here is a credible place to get FREE tutoring in C# (St. Louis)...
web: http://stlnet.org/
email: fr**********@stlnet.org
Usergroups in other cities probably have similar offerings.

Maybe I should answer some questions, but I do not need to prove anything to
anybody. It has nothing to do with what I am offering. I have seen a lot of
simple questions in this NGs posted by people who are just starting learning
..NET. Most of them are not even being answered, simply because they are
basic questions that should be addressed to a tutor or researched in text
books.
BTW, your "credible place for FREE tutoring" gave me a DNS error, which
means it is down. So much for credibility. There is a saying: you get what
you pay for.
I do not consider my postings as advertisements, I am offering help, since
some people are asking basic questions, and they are not being answered. On
top of that, I am offering a private tutoring, which means tutoring with
everyone individually, not just posting some info on a WEB site.
If you are not happy about my postings, you can complain to the moderator of
this group.

Be serious, I've seen "simple" questions in this newsgroup that reappear
over and over again and are always answered. There are always questions
which are overseen but most of them are answered here.

I don't know that much of DNS but getting a DNS error doesn't mean a site is
down. It can just as well mean that your local DNS (the one you're
contacting) is using an old DNS record and needs an update of it (dynamic
IP, ...). It probably tells you more about your ISP (and knowledge of DNS)
then the site you try to visit. BTW, I can access it without problem.

Oh yes it's advertisment. If you really offered help you would answer those
"real easy basic" questions. While answering some of them you could add a
few lines to your post saying you also offer private tutoring and how they
can contact you.
Some people advertise the book they wrote on the subject in their signature
while answering the question. If it's a good answer I can be convinced to
buy the book (I bought some).
