Problem using COM+ component that is set as "server". Why?

Why does this behavior happen?

I wrote a small COM+ component (ServicedComponent). When I install the
component as a library, everything works find. My application has no
problems accessing the properties and methods. However, when I change the
component to a "server" in the properties for that component, I receive
TargetInvocationException, or something like that. Why does this happen?
