Sorry... Just to clarify

Sorry, obviously
object xAssembly = null;
XmlDocument xReturn = xAssembly.Execute(xDocument); doesn't work. I know I would have to create the object. But I am really
looking for the way to do that dynamically.

Thanks.

news:T9***********************@news2.calgary.shaw. ca... Hey all.

I have an application that needs to be able to instantiate any assembly.
The rule is that all assemblies this application can instantiate have 1 and only 1 public method, let's call it Execute().

From within another class, I need to instantiate an object depending on the name that another application is calling for. For example:

App A calls through this assembly (X) asking to execute App B (or C, or D,
or whatever). B, C, D, all implement an Execute method.

So when X receives the call, it needs to instantiate either B, C, or D
depending on what App A has called for.

now, obviously, something like :

object xAssembly = null;
XmlDocument xReturn = xAssembly.Execute(xDocument);

does not work.

Does anyone have a good idea on how to do this? It's almost like I need a
type library type thing to let my app X know that any object that uses this library has the execute method etc.

Anyway... might be an easy solution.

TIA,
