Activex Security

Hi all,

I am currently working on an activex control to be accessed by our customers
over the web.
What security issues do I need to address to allow this to happen. The
control will be used
on a daily basis by many users. Also speed is of utmost importance, I had
started out by creating
the app as a web service, but was told this would not be fast enough for my
needs is this true
or can I go back to the web service idea. We will be running a real time
bidding system
over the web. Any comments appreciated.

Regards
Steve
