How identify returning user in Forms Authentication?

I've got everything working with Forms Authentication except for one thing.
When a persistent user (i.e. that checked "Remember Me" in the past and
therefore now have a cookie) returns to the site, how do I identify which
user it is?

Do I use something like FormsAuthentication.GetAuthCookie... or maybe
Request.Cookies(...? I'm guessing the user name is somewhere in the cookie
since the code at sign in was this:

FormsAuthentication.RedirectFromLoginPage(txtUserN ame.Text,
chkRememberMe.Checked);

Thanks very much for any feedback.
