C Sharp and Security

Hi,

Microsoft is really concerned with security the last 2 years. Just today I
read one article about one more security lapse in the network run
applications.

I had been attending some of the MSDN sessions in my city on C sharp. and
the guy in there did talk about code level security.

That's some way related to the RAM of the system.

I would like to get some more information about dotnet security, i.e
applications developed with dotnet.

Has the compilers, tools, in the dotnet world been made secure, so that the
security lapses which we are having with the non dot net applications will
not repeat.

How mature do you think dotnet is today as an application development
environment.

Thanks
Vivek

Hi Vivek,

You have to implement security by yourself, though there is a great deal of
built in functionality.
It is mature.
