PDF sdk......

Does anyone know where I can get an sdk to extract a PDF document as text, I
know Adobe do one, but they want me to pay for it :(

Ideally I would like a .Net (C#) version,but if not a good old C\C++ version
will do

Don't how well these work, but they both claim to be derived form the well
regarded Java iText library:
