Using window authorization

If you intend to use a Oracle database it it then possible to access the
oracle database
using window authorization which mean that you don't have to use an
account or password on the oracle database.

I have used window authorization when accessing sql database

Hi. I am trying to get through to Microsoft MapPoint Services using ZSI for soap handling. I can generate the service classes and also the soap-requests generated by the service classes seem to be OK. The problem I am facing is that I can't seem to authenticate myself. I have made a small change to ZSI.client so that when I get a "401 Unauthorized" response from the remote server I build up a nice authorization request:

Hi, Is there a way of requiring a log in for individual asp.net pages rather than securing a entire directory. I have a web app where there are 100+ pages but only 2 need to be password protected. I am currently using forms authentication to block the entire folder: <authentication mode="Forms"> <forms name=".MYCOOKIE" loginUrl="login.aspx"

What I have is a message box that pops up. It is another browser window. The code is a general function that you pass message, title and a key to. The box works great except, that if you are on a page, get the message box, then click ok on the message box go to another page and then back to the first page. The message box pops up again. It is almost like the history or cache still has information about the state and that it knows that...

I am programming what is to be a web service client that will use an HTTP-POST to request and retrieve data. The remote server (written in java for what it's worth) requires basic authentication as per RFC 2617 (http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc2617.html). My attempts to authenticate are failing. The server requires the header to be present with the request. For security reasons, it will not reply in any way if the header is not present. ...

Hi all, Following Ian's passionate postings on problems with ALTOBJ and the alter table wizard in the control center I'll try to explain how to use ALTOBJ with this thread. I'm not going to get into the GUI because it is hard to describe in text. First of all what is the purpose of ALTOBJ()? This procedure was created mostly for ISVs who need to do produce change scripts to upgrade application from release to release, but it can also

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
