Download complete event

I have a site (www.motiont.com) where people can come and download
different zip filed. Is it possible for me to know when the file was
fully downloaded (and not cancelled in the middle)? I don't have
access to the IIS log.

It is .net 2.0 site

thanks

Basically, the title explains it. I want to be able to read the first n bytes (say, 1024 bytes) of any file (text or binary) off the internet in my vb.net application. I specifically do not want to download the whole file (which in most cases will be significantly large compared to the portion i do want). I've looked into...

Hi all, I googled and read this group but could not find any solution to my problem. I have a page to download big excel files that we 'build' on the server side. Is there any way to capture "download complete event" on XP? This is typically when user tries to download a file from a server and is notified when the download is complete. I am looking to capture this in .NET application. Any thoughts ? Pointers? Thanks.

Note: You may skip to the end of the article if all you want is the perl code. Introduction Many websites have a form or a link you can use to download a file. You click a form button or click on a link and after a moment or two a file download dialog box pops-up in your web browser and prompts you for some instructions, such as “open” or...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
