Chnage the value of the scrollbar only one time

In my Win32 application, I've a panel with a picturebox containg a picture,
i want that the scrollbar won't start from position 0, but from 120 (for
example), on Load i change the value to 120 (panel1.Vertica lScroll.Value =
120;) but then when i Hide the form and open it again, some parts of the
picture is missing and instead of 120 the value is 240 (the 120 point became
the 0 point). how can i avoid that? how can i make sure that the picture
won't change and only the scrollbar position?

On one of my pages http://home.wanadoo.nl/b.de.zoete/html/tekeningen.html I have a div containing thumbnails (who ever came up with that word?) to select a larger view of a picture. The div is defined in the stylesheet http://home.wanadoo.nl/b.de.zoete/stylesheets/styles.css. The div is shorter than the space taken up by the total amount of thumbnails, hence there is a vertical scrollbar. No problems so far (atleast *I* have no...

I apologize for posting yet another scrollbar question. Here is my code. All I want is for a diagonal line to appear from coordinates (0,0) to (width, height) in a usercontrol regardless of whether the user autoscrolls the usercontrol (other things that are on the usercontrol I want to scroll, but haven't included any here). Here are the steps to reproduce my problem. 1. Launch Visual Studio and create a new Windows application with...

Hi! I am making an application and need to capture the event when RichTexBox control's vertical scrollbar's values changes. There is an event named VScroll but it is fired when mouse is first time clicked on scroll bar. I need the event when the value of scroll bar changes like when we drag the bullet on the scroll bar or when we manually press the down/Up arrow button when the textbox is in focus and text is scrolled up or ...

Hi there! Is there a way to bind a Textbox.Text to a ScrollBar.Value (not the Textbox-own Scrollbar) and vice versa? The Problem: I have to deal with two controls. The Textbox should accept integers as input, limited by a ScrollBar's Minimum- and Maximum. Changing the ScrollBar-Value should update the Textbox-Text and vice versa. So the textbox-text and scrollbar-value represent the same value. The user is

Hello all, as a non-professional in these things, I searched for this topic but found no satisfying answer: I have to create a site with 3 frames. (Please no diskussion about the sense of using frames...) The main frame has to show a vertical scrollbar if content is bigger than one display page. This works well, but:

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
