PropertyDescrip tor only need to be used if ListChangedType d is
PropertyDescrip torAdded, Removed or Changed. If you fire it you're
resposible of setting it. But Custom Collections rarely need it because they
often have a fixed set of properties on the Custom Object.

Any suggest?

Hello, We have a form that is collecting user input. There are three fields for each phone number (area code, prefix and suffix). I'm trying to use a simple if statement to confirm if the first character in any of the fields is "0". If it is, then I just redirect them to a different page because it's someone that is just messing around. Unfortunately, whenever the form loads, the if statement automatically evaluates to true and the user...

Hi all, I have bound a custom list object to a combo box's data source. This object implements the ITypedList interface and returns a PropertyDescriptorCollection to the fields in the list object. The appropriate list field is then selected via the ComboBox's DisplayMember property. Everything works fine up to this point. If however the combo box Visible property is cycled it seems to lose the property descriptor information; the...

I wrote the function below to get the vertical scroll position of an anchor. That is, a URL of the form http://www.example.com/mypage.html#anchorname should scroll to the point on the page that has an anchor <a name="anchorname">...</a>). Doing this in Javascript is necessary in the presence of a dynamic HTML page having some hidden blocks. DHTML messes up the scroll position in Opera and Mozilla (but not IE) so I'm trying to fix it...

::: Question: Does anyone know of a simple Control / UserControl implementation that hosts a UITypeEditor? Or the correct way to call PropertyDescriptor.GetEditor() and get a non-null result for usage in a Form? ::: Background: Basically, I have a highly-dynamic (runtime) bespoke object model, and I want to drop some (runtime-only) properties onto the form. As it happens, the objects implement all the right interfaces for Binding to...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
