I get some information messages with the web config

I am trying to add a definition for ConnString to web.config as follows
(VS.NET STD 2005)

<configuratio n>
<add key="ConnString " value="C:\test\ test.mdb" />

When I try to run it, I get some information messages
"Message 100 Could not find schema information for the attribute
'key'. c:\inetpub\wwwr oot\WebComptrac kOnlineASP2\Web .config 10 72 https://desktop11406/WebComptrackOnlineASP2/

Not sure if this is the cause, but you should use *appSettings* with a
capital 'S':

i want to traverse a set of messages in a Yahoogroups group from a Python program. to get to the messages of the group, one must log in. this presents, i think, two problems, 1) handling the form element for the login, which has a javascript submit routine, 2) keeping login state with cookies.

Another complaint I would like to see corrected. The Information Center tool is now pretty much useless to me. Does anyone else besides me remember when information center had a troubleshooting tab that had all of the messages that may appear as well as SQL error messages. The Tasks tab also used to have many more useful catergories. Please...

Hi, According to the information in the web.config file, if I set customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" in the web.config file then: "Display custom (friendly) messages only to users not running on the local Web server" Now this has been working great for showing my custom error pages. However, when I go locally on the server and an error...

Hi: We developed a set of ASP.NET Web Applications that never runs in stand-alone mode, but always inside a portal (Rainbow Portal). All modules are copied on that portal. My question is: load time takes, sometimes, three or four of minutes in a medium-level machine (a PIII 1.5 Ghz), when the binary contents are changed, or if the time of...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
