<see> tag cref type out of scope

Is there any way of resolving out of scope references in doc tags? I was
hoping that the compiler might leave unresolved (but fully qualified by
namespace) references intact so that NDoc could resolve them, but it appears
that it just replaces <see> by the (unqualified!) cref attribute value
instead where the compiler cannot resolve. Are there any workarounds?

I'm trying to design an HTML page that can edit itself. In essence, it's just like a Wiki page, but my own very simple version. It's a page full of plain old HTML content, and then at the bottom, there's an "Edit" link. So the page itself looks something like this: <HTML><HEAD><TITLE>blah</TITLE></HEAD><BODY> <!-- TEXT STARTS HERE --> ...

Hello, It appears that the <see> element has a breaking change in 2.0. In 1.1 it would automatically resolve overloads so you could just write <see cref="string.Format"/> and it would link to the string.Format overloads page. In 2.0, the same thing yields a warning: Ambiguous reference in cref attribute: 'string.Format'. Assuming...

I am using the XML documentation feature of VS.NET. Several of my classes have overloaded methods. I would like to create a <see> tag that refers to a specific overload (as opposed to the general overview of them all). How can I do this? For example, imagine that there are two overloads of the method Foo on the class Bar: Bar.Foo()...

What I have to write in the <see> tag in order to access the constructor of a class? E.g.: to access the constructor of a class MyClass I try <see cref="MyClass.MyClass"/> but it does not work. I try also <see cref="MyClass.#ctor"/> but it fails also. What I have to write?

I'd like to use the XML Documentation Tags to comment my C# code. But many of the tags do not have any effect when I execute the "Build Comment Web Pages" menu. For example, the <list> tag gets reendered as is. The resulting HTML page contains the exact same tags, which are not valid HTML. The same with <see> or <see also>. Isn't this...

The docs for List say "The List class is the generic equivalent of the ArrayList class." Since List<is strongly typed, and ArrayList has no type (is that called weakly typed?), I would assume List<is far better. So, why do people use ArrayList so often? Am I missing somehing? What's the difference between them? Zytan

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...
