Howto find an existente instance of a class

Hi to all,
This is my scenario, i'm trying to do some unit tests to an application
that is loaded by other, and my unit tests is a third project that
references the second, so, i have independent application A that loads
application B (plugin) and application C that makes the unit tests.

My problem is when my test application is running the other 2 are
already loaded, somehow, and i want to get the reference to the
instance of the application B so that i can do the unit tests.

Is there a way of getting that instance knowing only the name of the
class?

Thanks in advance

I have seen several people looking for a way to access the Columns collection when using the AutoGenerate = true option. Some people have gotten so far as to find the private autoGenColumnsArray that has the information, but we as developers have no way to access this information. I have come up with a solution for the problem, (as I am sure many others have) using reflection. Here is some sample code that will print out the auto...

I've recently 'discover' the wonders of custom attributes and reflection. There's one aspect that has stumping me and I've been unable to find samples in the docs or on the web. I have fields in a class which have zero, one or more custom attributes associated with each field. I'd like to get a list of the attributes present for a given field, and then iterate over them to find associated values. Where I've coded for the presence of...

Hi, I use a customized Generic List (VB.NET 2.0) inherited from BindingList(Of T). I made some methods in this BindingList, to allow me to do some standard functions on the BindingList-Items. One of them is for instance SumItems, which returns me the sum of a given Property of all the Items in the List.

This is more of a C# question than a C++ question, but my best chance of explaining it is via comparison to C++. Ok: In C++ you can forward declare a type. Then references to that type can be passed around in a typesafe way without introducing a dependency on the type. Only users needing to access the members need the type definition. C# generics provide a similar capability, where you can treat a type as

Hi, everyone here loves C++; As a student studying data structure, I'm writting a single list (with only one pointer to identity the next node in its node struct) simulating std::list like: template <typename T, typename Allocclass slist {...}; Here Alloc accepts a std::allcator . And within the same namespace I wrote its iterator:

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
