Get class information

Hi

I create a struct, or a class and I'd like to know
which are the members available.. by code

something like

pubic class nico
{
public int age;
public int old;
}

and somewhere , i could do something like this
foreach(Members member in nico.Members)
{
member.Value = i;
}

See what I mean ?

Where should I start looking for ?

Nico n = new Nico();
PropertyCollect ion properties = TypeDescriptor. GetProperties(n );

these types are in the System.Componen tModel namespace.

You should look in the System.Reflecti on namespace, and at
Type.GetPropert ies, Type.GetFields etc.

I have several tags on a webpage of the same class. If the user clicks a specific checkbox I'd like to be able to alter the display property of the class, affecting all objects of that class. This is an intranet application so we know that javascript will be enabled and the browser will be IE. How can I affect all the members of this class? Is there a way I can toggle the DISPLAY property of a class so all the elements using that class...

Hi, I sent this message to the moderated c++ group too but it is waiting for moderator approval and I wanted to send here too. I am new to Design Patterns. I want to write a simple DeviceManager which is only interested in CD/DVD devices. I want to get the list of CD/DVD devices and "be informed when a disc inserted into a device". I am developing this on Linux. So, I used HAL API and read some system (actually /proc) files to gather...

We use a Soap Header to pass a token class (m_Token) back and forth with authenticated session information. Given the following implementation for our Logout method, I vastly prefer to simply code m_Token = null in order to destroy the session token when the user logs out. However, I'm finding that setting class instance to null results in no header being sent back to the client, with the result that the client actually remains with an...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development projectplanning, coding, testing, and deploymentwithout human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
