ContextMenuStri p for Rows of DataGridView?

Okay so I created a ContextMenuStri p, this menu will have options for
editing or deleting rows of the datagridview. The problem is I dont
know how to set the ContextMenuStri p to the individual rows of the
datagridview instead of the entire datagridview?

I think this a simple question but i'm breaking my brain without results. I've a datagridview bounded to a datatable, with an imagecolumn that should contain a different bitmap depending from a field in the bounded datatable. my problem is to find an event raised for each rows loaded in the datagridview, so i can check my field and load the correct bitmap. i tried RowsAdded event but it is raised only 2 times, even i'm loading 15

Hi, I am using contextmenustrip in my usercontrol in which there is a grid control associated with it. I added the rows below in the designer code, to create contextmenustrip with its constructor which takes the "IContainer" parameter. "this.m_Components" is defined in my base usercontrol as a protected member. My code is below in my designer:

Hello, I am populating a datagridview from a datatable and filtering the number of rows with a dataview object. Is there a way to retrieve the rows displayed by the datagridview into a separate datatable without having to loop through each column in the datagridview? Or is there a way to retrieve the rows from the original datatable filtered by the dataview into a separate table? I only want to copy the rows from the main table that...

I want to programmatically add a row to DataGridView (a datasource was binded with it), but when I call the method DataGridView.Rows.Add, a System.InvalidOperationException will be thrown and the error message is: Rows cannot be programmatically added to the DataGridView's rows collection when the control is data-bound. But if I create a DataGridView without any datasource binded, the method DataGridView.Rows.Add can work normally. I...

I am using a DataGridView to display information stored in classes. I am linking to the information with the Tag property of the DataGridView rows. Unfortunately, whenever I set the Tag property, update all its associated cells, and then add a new row, it adds the blank row to the top of the grid. It seems like it would be more logical to me to add the new row to the bottom of the grid. Before I started using the Tag property of the rows,...

This article explains how to make all the rows height the same in DataGridView in .Net 2.0 while using AutoSizeRowMode In DataGridView 2.0,there is a option to resize row to fit the content of the cell. This will increase the row height. this.dataGridView1.AutoSizeRowsMode = DataGridViewAutoSizeRowsMode.DisplayedCells; But the row heights will not be the same through out the DataGridView (some row's height will be smaller than another...

I've been working on an app which has an array of RichTextBoxes. And I have a context menu for the RTBs. The context menu has two levels; the first level has two items, "Load Sample Text File" and "Insert Row >"; the "Insert Row >" item on the first level invokes, if that's the right word, a second level which has two items, "Above" and "Below". This all worked when it was a ContextMenu. But I am trying to change it to use the new menu...

I understand microsoft's change from contextmenu to contextmenustrip - the strip looks "prettier". But, since the contextmenu isn't available in the designer, it suer woul dhave been nice when updating a project from VS2003 to VS2005 that it asked if you wanted to change all of the menus. I now have hundreds (if not thousands) of menus that need to be changed from contextmenu to contextmenustrip. Is there an option/program somewhere...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
