AppFriendlyName not applying

Hi Guys,

I'm trying to set the property of AppFriendlyName to a
IIsWebServerSet ting class in an IIsWebServer. However, when I take a
look in IIS manager, under the AppPool tree it just says "ROOT" instead
of the name I have specified.

*************** *************** ***********
string theDomain = "test.com";

// Default path specifies server and service.
ManagementPath thePath = _defaultPath.Cl one();
thePath.Relativ ePath = "IIsWebServer=' W3SVC/3'";
thePath.ClassNa me = "IIsWebServerSe tting";
ManagementObjec t siteSettings = new ManagementObjec t(thePath);

// testAppPool exists, and site is added with name as "ROOT".
theProperties["AppPoolId"].Value = "testAppPoo l";

// Dosen't appear to get applied, name stays as "ROOT".
siteSettings.Pr operties["AppFriendlyNam e"].Value = theDomain;

// This line throws no exceptions.
siteSettings.Pu t();
*************** *************** ***********

Any ideas people?

Another thaught, the actual site description isn't being set either.

Did you refresh the view in IIS Manager?

Yeah, I've even added additional sites to the testAppPool using my
code, however they all display as "ROOT"; for example...

[ - ] Appliction Pools
| [ - ] DefaultAppPool
| |------ Default Application
| [ - ] testAppPool
| |------ ROOT
| |------ ROOT

I can successfully enter an "Applicatio n Name" in the Home Directory
tab using the IIS manager, which displayes appropriately. However, in
this case that's not really an option.

Nick

Is there an optimal way to apply a function to the elements of a two-d array? What I'd like to do is define some function: def plone(x): return x+1 and then apply it elementwise to a 2-D numarray. I intend to treat the function as a variable, so ufuncs are probably not appropriate-- I

I have some styles which IE (Win - tested in 5, 5.5 and 6) is only applying to the first letter of the element. Basic stuff like font-weight and font-size applied to a <p> or <hx> element via either a class selector or a straight element selector. Searching for this bug has been somewhat fruitless as all I find are pages talking about the...

I have a specific situation where I am applying padding to text inside of a "P" tag, where if the text wraps then the second line of text ignores the padding. Hi I'm having a problem applying return false to a div via addEventListener. I'm adding this so that I can drag (click-hold-move) over an image. (Its so that I can add zooming to the image) Adding onmousemove="return false" onmousedown="return false" allows this to happen but I want to add events with addEventListener/attachEvent instead....

Hi Folks, one of our developers uses a statement with a where clause which usually does not match to any rows. In case of one or more rows found she wrote a an expression in the select clause which evaluates to a "division by zero" on purpose to raise an alarm (dirty) This is the statement: SELECT
