Books recommendation

Our team has extensive VB.Net experience in VS2003 (.Net 1.1) and we decide
to move to C# in VS2005 (.Net 2.0). Please suggest some good books and
references.

Thanks!

Hi,

This is a good "generalist ic" book:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/159...304883-1078230

Then you will need more specialized ones. On ASP.NET, take a look at:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/159...304883-1078230

Regards,

Octavio

Andrew Troelesen is a well known C# author.
I've been reading through both of those books and they are quite good.

I would also recommend Dino Esposito and a couple of older books "C# Class
Design Handbook" and "C# Text Manipulation" both by WROX.

Hello Wenlei,

What area u are interesting in?
Try to google with "C# 2 what's new", ".net 2.0 what's new"
U can move to vs2005 w/out specific knowledge, based only on .net 1.1 and
gain differences from MSDN

Hi Michael ,

For the last couple years we have been developing our corporate web site in
VB.Net using VS2003. And we have hired a consulting firm to develop our
product which will be a web application. They have decided to code it in C#
using VS2005. To be able to maintain this product once it is transitioned,
our internal staff need to get up to speed with C# and VS2005.

We're looking for good C# books.

Thanks,

Wenlei

Hi; I have heard about a few very good books on DHTML, but the most modern ones seem to have been published in 2002. Have any _significant_ changes in DHTML or the standard DOM happened since then or will those "best of the dhtml books" still do the job? If not, is there a place on the web that documents DHTML, well, in its latest...
