DataGrid Row cursor control

How can I set the row cursor(on the row header) position by C# app? The
DataGrid.Select () method can't do it!

You can get the binding context and then set the Position property to
the row you would like to set the current row cursor to.

Hope this helps.

There's something I can't figure out. I added some javascript behavior to my datagrid, just like in this article, except in C# instead of VB: http://www.dotnetbips.com/displayarticle.aspx?id=205 If I bind the datagrid to the dataset at all times, whether Postback or not, then everything works fine. However if I only bind it when Page is not Postback (just like

Hi, I want to create a client-side script that highlights a row of a datagrid control when the mouse cursor is over that row (i.e. chage the color of the row to something else than the current color), but apparently the datagrid doesn't have an OnMouseOver event. It works with regular html tables but not with the datagrid control. is there a way to do it?

I realised that if I use datagrid and datasource is a datatable, when I created a new row and while on that row I exit the datagrid (ie. without moving into the next row) and focus onto another control, that new row is not recorded (check it at the datagrid.validating event). However, if I use down arrow key to move to the next row (without keying any data) and exit, the new row is recorded in the datatable. can anyone please advise if I...

I have a datagridview that allows the user to sort the column by clicking on the header of the column the user wishes to sort. I did not code this, it had the ability when the datagrid was populated. My question is how can I change the cursor to an hourglass when the user clicks the header and change it back to the default once the sort is accomplished. The database is large and the sort takes a few seconds. Need something to show the...

Ok a couple things I've got going: On the DataGrid1_CurrentCellChanged I add a button control to the datagridtextbox. This occurs when a mouse click happens inside the cell or the cursor enters the cell. I'm trying to figure out how to capture the Enter key so to run the buttoncontrol click function. I can get this to work when the datagrid only is activated (by clicking on the whitespace of the grid) but of course it won't work when the cursor...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
