Print table in C# to the screen and printer

Hi All,
I am taking a word document and displaying it on an aspx page using c#.
I am having troubles printing the table layout --
How do I control the width of the entire table and of the cells?
Also, how do I print the page as landscape to the printer?
I have some sentences idented in word that I want to maintain on the
aspx page.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I've written a simple program in VB 6.0 to list all my MP3 files. To show them on the screen I used an MSFlexGrid named TextGrid (which is not associated with any table or text file) in the following code run by a button (the files are all in the format "Artist - Name Of Song" in their directories, which is why the code looks for a dash): Private Sub Command1_Click() Dim dashplace%, length% For I% = 0 To File1.ListCount FLIName =...

I need to print a html table when the user clicks on a key. the problem is that i don't want the printer dialog box to appear. i guess this is impossible in javascript so i think to create an event that will be fired by a keyup event, this event will submit the page, and i will be able to print in from the vb.net without the printing dialog box. the problem is that on the server i can't print the web table because i already submitted that...

Hello, I am developing a VB.NET 2003 application that will use lots of Crystal Reports. Sometimes the users will preview a report in a Crystal report viewer, and sometimes they will send the report directly to the printer bypassing the Crystal report viewer altogether. When sending the job directly to the printer I use the PrintToPrinter command CR.PrintToPrinter(1, False, 0, 0)

I have a printing problem that I'm hoping someone can solve. I have a small company website that uses javacript under IE5.5. For web pages that display large lists I used a div to build a simulated iframe. When a user pulls the right slide to move down the table and decides to print the screen, the printed output shows the information from the beginning of the table and stop after 13 lines. This often differs from the "view area" on...

I have a vb.net 2005 application and am using the print preview screen. This screen has a printer icon on it that the user can use to print the document currently being viewed. It uses the default printer settings to print. I wanted the print preview to appear the same for all users (i.e. a default page size of 8.5x14 (legal) and portrait mode). Many users have different printers as their default (plotters etc..) and I found that various...

We are converting some reports from Crystal Reports to Microsoft SQL Reporting Services (SSRS) in an ASP 2.0 VB.Net web app. Crystal had a function called PrintToPrinter which was being used to programmatically print to a network printer that we specified in the code as soon as the user clicked a button on the screen. The printer dialog box did not appear. It was true one-click printing. I need to figure out how to do the same thing in...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
