Yup, that's fine. Admittedly an HTML signature looks odd in the text
version of a message, but there we go...

We have found that our method of testing does not match traditional text-book methodologies. I decided to write a short white paper on it so that I could get your opinions. Does anyone else use this method? If so, what the heck is it called? Do you think it would work in other projects, or did we just luck out? Jonathan Allen *****************

Hi, In Nunit testing with asp.net are you guys creating a separate Test assembly for testing or integrating right in class themselves? Is anyone using a third party Unit Test addon for Nunit to test asp.net? What is it called, and how do you like what you are using? Any problems testing user controls with it? Any body have any real world examples of Nunit with asp.net that they can share. Just a skeleton layout would suffice. How many...

I'd like to know how others approach testing. I work for a bank and there are some fairly paranoid people here. My philosophy is to test only the webforms that were changed. But people here are telling me the whole app needs to be tested. I think that's crazy. What's your opinion? Thanks Ken

Hi, I have been asked to teach a short course on testing in C++. Until now I have used my own testing classes (which from what I've seen seem similar to the boost unit testing classes). Considering I have a limited amount of time what do readers of this group think would be useful to cover in this course? Is boost the way to go? Sorry if this is off-topic in this group.

Does anyone else feel that unittesting is too much work? Not in general, just the official unittest module for small to medium sized projects? It seems easier to write some quick methods that are used when needed rather than building a program with integrated unittesting. I see the value of it (the official unittest that is)... especially when there's a lot of source code. But this... if len(x) != y: sys.exit('...')

What would heavy python unit testers say is the best framework? I've seen a few mentions that maybe the built in unittest framework isn't that great. I've heard a couple of good things about py.test and nose. Are there other options? Is there any kind of concensus about the best, or at least how they stack up to each other? Brendan

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
