Performance Counter complaining

Hi,

I have created a service, which installer installs 5 performance counters as
well. Then the service instances these counters and interact with them.

If I check the event viewer I receive an error everytime the service starts:
"The requested Performance Counter is not a custom counter, it has to be
initialized as ReadOnly".

All my 5 counters are custom and actually all of them work fine showing the
correct
values. I have been trying to debug if any particular one is complaining but
couldn't find it, if I go step by step no error is shown (I have tried every
single perf counter interaction), but as soon as I press F5 to run it the
event is triggered.

It seems that a bug, not really affecting my app but I am trying to
understand what is wrong with it.

Thanks

Category Name = "Web Service"

I thought that the whole point of StringBuilder was that it was supposed to be a faster way of building strings than string. However, I just put together a simple little application to do a comparative analysis between the two and, surprisingly, string seems to out perform StringBuilder by a significant amount. A string concatenation takes not...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. For...
