Missing XML comment for excluded file

When compiling (using MS VS 2003) with the xml output option enabled I
get "Missing XML Comment for pub.....".
This of course is the way it should be but is there a way to make the
compiler ignore missing xml comments for excluded files?

ex: I have classA and classB in my project. classA is compiled and 1
warning is thrown due to missing XML comment and say 20 warnings is
thrown for classB.

classB is excluded using the "Exclude From Project" context menu and
it has no XML comments.

So again is there a way to make the MS VS 2003 ignore excluded files
when checking for XML comments?

One of the reasons I like python so much is that the standard installation comes with a whole lot of libraries to do lots of useful things but there seem to be a few things missing from the standard library which would be useful in many projects: Encryption - AES and 3DES. Possibly RSA and Certificate processing. DNS - Something better than gethostbyaddr for looking up other record types. Database - Something suitable for small projects...

I have been using XML Comments in VB.NET during my time with VS.NET 2003 thanks to VBXC and NDoc. I just started to upgrade one of my projects into VB.NET 2005 and am seeing some odd errors centered around my past use of XML comments. I am interested to know if you all think this is a bug or 'working as designed' and I was just lucky to get away with it. I had a method that could, based upon two different cases throw an...

Hello, In Visual Studio 2005, after having set the XML Documentation file in the project settings I get 'Missing XML comment' warnings on public methods only. Is there a way to enforce the compiler to output those warnings also for private methods that lack of an XML comment? Many thanks in advance.

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
