How to personalise 'thank you' message?

P: 44
Hello

I have the following as part of my Contact.aspx.vb file:

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. Protected Sub SendEmail_Click(sender As Object, e As System.EventArgs)
in Visual Studio (2013):

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1.   pnlFormFields.Visible = False
  2.         pnlThankYouMessage.Visible = True
  3.
  4.     End Sub
When the user completes the form fields in my Contact.aspx page which has this:

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. <asp:Panel ID="pnlThankYouMessage" runat="server" CssClass="panel" Visible="False">
  2.
  3.           Thank you. Your message has been sent.
  4.
  5.           </asp:Panel>
and presses 'Send', the 'Thank you message appears. Without redirecting the user to another page, how could I
personalise the 'Thank you' messsage, so that it says 'Thank you + personal name' (the name typed in the form's name field), please?

Thank you.
