Electronic Document Management System Development

Hi,

I am currently assigned to design and develop an EDMS. The system should be able to accommodate different type of documents. System should be capable to capture information from each document according to its type. Example below:

School Document:
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • SchoolID
  • Address
  • DOB

Invoices
  • Invoice Number
  • Invoice Date
  • Company
  • Total Number of Items
  • Total Amount

Human Resource Document
  • EmployeeID
  • Employee First Name
  • Employee Last Name
  • Employee DOB
  • Date Hired
  • Others

My CompanyA client has HR and student records, and my CompanyB client has HR and Invoice documents.

Can someone did this before? Can you please advise how can I normalize table for this kind of project?

Thank you in advance guys!
