Copying Files to Web server

I had a asp.net web site , developed using vb.net ..
But i want to do some changes in one of the pages, and i made it and uploaded to the server , but the changes are not reflecting,,,,
The changed file only required to overwright or some more files required to over wright in the server for to get effect my changes.. any one please guide me... i am publishing the web application to a local folder before copying to the web server, i even tried copying the dll of the web site also to the server bin folde.. that also not working.. please please guide me...
