cant access outlook 2010 com obj from asp .net on iss7 but ok from vs dev server

Thank you all in advance for any help on this:
I have seen this listed in a few places.

I have a asp .net that cant connect to outlook 2010 on IIS7 but ok on development server

Here are some facts:

1) hangs on this line (browser simply takes for ever)
Dim oApp As New Outlook.Application()

2) using application pool .net 4.0 with identify = admsvr (highest permision)- using pass thru authentication

3) runs fine on VS 2010 development server

4) when I kill the window I see in the output window evidence of the outlook dlls loading ok

question: outlook 2010 is loaded on this deployment server. OUtlook is running too, as it needs to be even for the development server version.

However, I never explicitally registed Microsoft.Office.Interop.Outlook the outlook dlls on the web server as I have seen suggested. ID this is the problem, how do I do this???
