web parts runtime error

I have web parts on a website and they have a runtime error. They work fine on desktop and Visual Studio, but I upload files one by one to the website, then try to configure a custom database provider with the web.config file. I have installed the ASP Schema into a SqlServer database, and customized the ASP login controls to use this and they are working. However, the web parts aren't working, despite attempts to connect them to the same ASP schema.
