How to sending mail blocked by host machine?

Hi,

Am using ASP.Net 3.5 with C#. Am trying to send email using SMTP server on button click. Mostly email is sent suceessfully. But sometimes am getting web mail exception error saying "Host machine software has blocked the mail".
My web application runs behind a firewall.

Can anyone help on this.

Thanks,

Manoj

You should get together with the e-Mail provider and find out why your e-mails are being blocked.

You might be sending too fast, and overloading the server's icoming IP connection pool. I've done that as part of stress-testing for firewall software.

If your messages are legitimate, then they should gladly whitelist you. The issue is to determine the specific cause as to why your messages are being rejected.

Good Luck!
