I am a VB Programmer Using VB 6.0 SQL Server 2000 + Crystal Report (Inventory & Accounts Software)
I would like to web base .Please help that which one is good for me Asp.net or Vb.Net.. Thnks Jose

OK, lets look into this.

1) ASP.Net is a technology
VB.Net is a programming language

2) You can use either VB.Net or C# to build ASP.Net Websites

3) Since you're from a VB background I.
I recommend you go for ASP.Net with VB.Net.


In fact you can also look for Asp.Net with C# which is in much demand these days

Just like ThatThatGuy, has stated: you need to use both ASP.NET and VB.NET to create "ASP.NET" websites or web applications.

Please research the topic of ASP.NET. When you have a more specific problem with your project implementation feel free to ask :)
