Much like your attempt at rap ghetto English, you misunderstand. It was not a prank.

That search provides over a dozen ajax news tickers that you can just drop into your project and several tutorials for making your own ticker.

What you define as a "good one" is completely subjective, meaning only you know what is 'good' to you. What you think is good I might think is bad. What you think is "too much" I might think is "not enough".

You will need to actually go through the results and decide for yourself which tutorials can teach you something. You might want to simply do all the tutorials because each one will teach you something different. Then when you take all that you have learned from 10 different tutorials and put it all together you will have the skills to build exactly what you want.

There were quite a few tutorials listed on Google....you must be looking for something that you have in mind that made you dismiss these.

Where are you getting the news from?
An RSS feed?

Is it provided by by a Web Service (if so check out ASP.NET Ajax Web Services)?

Have you seen this amazing article about Syndicating Your Web Site's Content with RSS or the second part of that article on Consuming an RSS Feed with ASP.NET?

What have you tried so far?
