Executing a Stored Procedure using Silverlight

I have a silverlight web page on which I have a button which updates the values in the database.

On the click of the button I want to execute the update query to update the table. I am not getting any clue on how to go on with. Please suggest something

I'm pretty sure that you're going to have to make a request to the server to update the database.

Do you have a Web Service already implemented?
What have you tried so far?

Have you tried calling that web service from your silverlight application?
Are you seeing any errors?
