ListViews in asp.net

115 100+
I've spent a while looking at list views and i have finally got mine working!

Although i think i have misjudged what the list view can do. I normally work with windows form apps and list views seem relativly straight forward in this context however asp.net listviews seem to work differently.

Once the list is populated i would like the user to select an item from that listview but i can't seem to select a row!
Is this down to using a table layout?
Does anyone know of a solution

Simply i would like a user to select several items from the list and store their choices in to a database.

It's the selecting their items that i can't figure out

cheers
