GridView column value in Label.Text

I have an objectDataSource that is bound to an XML file in which data is inserted through a DetailsView. Now each time I insert data a GridView shows the update.
In the XML datasource I have an Item called First_Name. With each Page_Load I want like this:

Label1.Text = "Many Thanks " + GridView1.Column[2].ToString();//this code should be written properly which I failed to do..and need help....

Why don't you just use the ObjectDataSource to access the first name?

Aside from that, GridView1.Columns[2].ToString is not going to work out to well for you. GridView1.Columns[2] will return you a DataControlField. You may be able to use the DataControlField to figure out the FirstName of the user but this seems like a lot of work to do when the first name is in the ObjectDataSource...

Yes I thought about using ObjectDataSource, like

GridView1.Datasource=ObjectDataSource1.//some property or method

In fact, I am lost in this part!
Is it like that Label1.text=Datasource.Table.Row[index number].ToString(); ?
