make trail period website

hi friend

i am develpoing web application(elearning portal)

i am convert to web setup (database included)

i am send to the client

they are installed and enjoy the course

course is one month valid period

after that they are renewal the courses

they are full rights for the database (because client have database)

so how can i make to stop?

it is my requirement

does it need to be local at the client? i just ask since it is a webapplication ... why not give a time-limited user/password to try the portal online? otherwise you would need to implement a mechanism that would require a license key to access the delivered data ...

my suggestion -

1) host your own website, to administrate subscriptions.
2) publish web-services to authenticate subscriptions
3) call these web-services from your client web application.
4) if subscription is expired, block the course access.
