Integrate Java webservice in .Net web service

Hi All,
I have created one web service in java which contain one web method called getItemDetails().

I have also created one web service in .Net which contains another 4 web methods.

I want to integrate the java web service in .Net web service.
For this purpose I have added the web reference of .WSDL file in to .Net web service. And by creating the object of that web service I have called getItemDetails() method.

when I tried running the web service I could see all the 5 methods on web service page (4 web methods of .net and 1 of java)

but When I click on the web method it throws an exception as follows:

System.Net.WebException: The request failed with HTTP status 405: Method Not Allowed.
at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtoc ol.ReadResponse(SoapClientMessage message, WebResponse response, Stream responseStream, Boolean asyncCall)
at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtoc ol.Invoke(String methodName, Object[] parameters)
at WebReference.ItemService.getItemDetails() in c:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temp orary ASP.NET Files\businesslogic\a72dd982\ce7ee4a8\App_WebRefer ences.vciynif1.0.cs:line 47
at Service.getItemDetails() in D:\web service1\App_Code\Service.vb:line 72

Can anyone please help in this issue.
Thanks for any help

A 405 error indicates:

The method specified in the Request-Line is not allowed for the resource identified by the Request-URI. The response MUST include an Allow header containing a list of valid methods for the requested resource.

I would start by checking to make sure that your Java web service is accessible.

Check if the server hosting the Java web servic is only accepting POST, or some limited number of verbs....

Also, make sure that you are accessing the web service correctly in your C# code (check the port etc.)
