VS2008 SP1 Fails - Installation package could not be opened

[Cirene]

I reformated by PC, reinstalled VS2008 then tried to apply the SP1 (using a
DVD I burned from the ISO.)

Can you help???

I got this message...

The installation failed with teh following message:
This installation package could not be opened. Contact the appliation vendor
to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer Package.

Likely, it's a DVD burning error. Try to burn another one with verification.

Thanks. I tried it again, this time NOT using the DVD, and it worked...
