How can show fields in edit mode but not update it- I don't want it in my parameters

How can show fields in edit mode but not update it- I don't want it in my parameters and not in my sql statement

I'm using ObjectDatasource.But when i don't add it to the parameters error i keep getting error of the update event.

By the eay i have a templated field:(
