CSS vertical-align

Hi all,

Here's another basic CSS question: I've just stumbled across the concept of
inheritance (or the inability of some properties to do such), specifically
in relationship to the vertical-align property. It appears that everything
is vertically centered unless I explicitly apply a different vertical-align
rule to each specific element on my page. There's got to be an easy way to
declare that everything in my <bodyis vertical-align:top, but I can't
figure out how to make that happen.
