Border Widths for ListBoxes

I have several ListBoxes that I want to have a simple 1 pixel black border
for. When I set style="border:1px black solid;" it does not make any
difference, the border still looks like "border-style:outset;". Is there any
way to modify the border of a ListBox, or does Internet Explorer just ignore
that for ListBoxes? Thanks. (NOTE: I am doing my testing in IE6)

Hi Nathan

Interesting. I can't get IE7 to work properly either. Opera and
Netscape respond to border style in CSS for this control but not IE!

Looks like IE has a weakness that has not been address even in its
latest version.

You cant set CSS against the listbox, as its of type select and is
implemented by the operating system which doesn't support modifiable chrome.

You'll have to workaround it.
