debug on off

I got a message to turn on debug on web.config and I click on yes, but
how can I set it back to off?
Your information is great appreciated,

In web.config :

<compilation debug = "false">

It's the only way to set it to off. The default is "true".
Production applications should always have debug turned off, for performance purposes.

Hi,

"<compilation debug = "false"" will set the application not to load
any debug symbols so you will unable to debug..
but as Juan said its for application performance while deployment in
production server.
