Visual Studio becomes incredibly slow.

I have a project that I've been working on for about 4 months. It seems like
Visual Studio is getting slower and slower when I tell it to debug the app.
I just rebooted my machine and so far it has taken 5 minutes and the web
site hasn't started yet.

I once before created a new project and imported everything and it seemed
faster. Are there things I can look for to make it start up faster? It also
seems to take a while to load the project.

The project isn't that big - 100 pages at the most.

It's almost like the project needs to be recreated or 'cleaned up'.

Anybody have any insight?

BTW - VS 2005.

TIA - Jeff.

I had a similar issue with my VS2008:

Try deleting .suo file. You may lose some settings, but it may restore the
original speed.
