Can LoginStatus be configured to display a specific page on a successful login?

LoginStatus can be configured with LogoutPageUrl but there is no way to
configure it with 'LoginPageUrl', i.e. a page that will be displayed upon a
successful login. I'd like users to be redirected to a specific page,
regardless of where they are.
Could someone please let me know what the best practice is in this case?
Thanks
