How can I condition if a dropdownlist contains a value?

this clearly don't work.

If ddl.items.FindByValue("RT-RECHARGE") Then

Do i have to loop through it?

To get the selected value, use : ddl.items.SelectedItem.Value
You can also use : ddl.items.SelectedValue
