Access Databse In Web Developer

I can use a form view, gridview and details view to see the data in my
access databse, but i cannot edit or add to the database. What simple step
am I missing?

The step that helps us learn how to use google is always a good idea. Try
the following and any variants you can think of...

edit gridview site:msdn2.microsoft.com

Assuming you've configured the controls correctly you need to ensure ASPNET
has write access to the mdb file.

What exactly do you mean by you can't edit or add?
Are you receiving a specific error? If so, what is it?

Here [1] are some specific tutorials I'm now keeping as a shortcut on my
desktop for awhile. Note the asp.net domain has many code samples and
