Determining if a locale exists

Is there an elegant way to determine if a specific locale is valid? I
know I can call
CultureInfo.GetCultureInfo("en-TEST") and catch the exception if it
fails to find the culture but I would rather use a hypothetically
cleaner CultureInfo.CultureExists("en-TEST") type of method that
returns a boolean answer...

thanks in advance,
Jude
